![]() I can't answer for now, I'll do some tests. So i do precise my previous quesion, will your encoder be able to export those big files in ProRes (not x264 or x265) in a future update, or is it not possible ? It is why we render those big files only in ProRes. Concerning the filesize / 444 quality I'll do some test when I'll have a Mac. The lighter files are with x264 / x265, ProRes is useful because it's available for Windows but the encoder are about the same than thoses of Apple. It brings fast and efficient codecs to After Effects’ render queue and a new format choice in Premiere Pro and Media Encoders Export Window. Progress will go back to zero each time an element from the render queue is finished. Maybe x265 or WebM supports your resolution (8K -> 33 millions pixels), but that depends on a lot of factors and also framerate so you'll have to test that (WebM is coming soon) AfterCodecs is a new native plugin for the whole Adobe CC Video suite, working on both Mac OS and Windows. After Effects : Now AfterCodecs displays a progress bar inside After Effects icon in your taskbar on both Windows and Mac OSX. X264 supports up to 4K (8 millions pixels) whereas 14716x2368 is 34 millions pixels. All 4 HAP codecs from Vidvox but with faster algorithms. ![]() ![]() Included a new ProRes 4444 Light unofficial profile to get both Alpha channel and lower filesize. MOV: ProRes 422 / 4444 / XQ : yes even on Windows and older versions of Adobe. FOR MAC BELOW: AfterCodecs v1.9.7 download Category: AE Plugins AEScripts Downloads Tags: AfterCodecs, animation, direct links, downloads, mac, presets, sfx, update, video editing, win Post navigation aescripts Monospacer v1. Why such a difference ? Is your plugin not supposed to export lighter files ? AfterCodecs brings you with consistency all the codecs & features you need, without Quicktime and in. Before you start Aescripts Plugins Collection for After Effects free download, make sure your mac meets minimum system requirements. The one encoded with AfterCodecs : 921mo, the one from MediaEncoder on a Mac : 551mo. File Size 36.7 MB Aescripts AfterCodecs v1.10. ![]() Both files looks good almost the same (I supperpose the 2 files in Difference blending mode) ! My only concern is about the file size. Last question, I did a first export with AfterCodecs in 444, a second export in PNG sequence then I exported this sequence whitin Media Encoder on a Mac in ProRes444.
